I have just uploaded v0.2.2 of XDebug support to bugzilla. You can find it at

This is a bugfix release mainly
Changes are
1. changed how strings are passed to xdebug when changing a variable to use newly added feature of xdebug
2. fixed bug with StackFrame not calling the mapper extension
3. hover now works for variables at the selected stack frame
4. changed the way nested arrays are handled for better performance and recursion. The max depth option
in preferences has changed. This now should not limit to what level nested arrays can be expanded to but
controls how much information is retrieved per request to xdebug when getting nested array information.
5. Documentation changed to show that XDebug RC3 and RC4 should work.
