Hi,
Java8u40 is just around the corner and it comes with a Dialog API and
other nice additions like a reliable way to associate a base stylesheet
with your custom controls.
e(fx)clipse 2.0.0 will make use of those APIs and so requires you to use
have Java8u40 preview builds and naturally the final release build of
Java8u40.
Beside requiring Java8u40 we have switched our build to run against Mars
so if you are working with the nightly builds you'll get the latest Mars
bits released.
e(fx)clipse 2.0.0 runtime will come with minimal API changes and you
most of them you probably won't notice but anyways make sure you switch
yourself to the 2.0.0 as soon as possible.
We do not plan to ship any *public* 1.2.x releases and bugfixes are only
available for customers having support contracts with BestSolution.
