javaw.exe - no disk [message #29898] |

Hi,
There is no disk in the drive. Insert a disk in the drive
\Device\Harddisk1\DR7
(translated from French, so maybe not exact)
Could someone shed any light on this infuriating message? I get this
cancel/restart/continue message whenever I do anything related to java,
and in particular eclipse. I have to click on one of the buttons (doesn't
matter which) about 15 times before getting any peace, and then 30 seconds
later it starts all over again. Everything seems to be normal (ie,
projects load etc) but this infuriating message just won't go away.
Ideas?
Cheers
Antoine

Hello Antoine,
I also get a similar message, but for me it occurs when I launch the Web
Services Explorer. After starting up, the Web Services Explorer no longer
gives this message. Maybe this can help someone put their finger on the exact
cause of this problem.
(Eclipse 3.1.0 M3, wtp/wst sdk 1.0M3: Web Services Explorer 1.0.0)
Regards,
Muhammad

I have realised what it is... windows sucks! It was including a phantom
usb drive which was messing with javaw. Once I removed it (not physically,
cos it wasn't there) everything turned just peachey.
Cheers
