Will the current release of the Mac OS X version run on the new Intel
Macs? From what I understand, Java apps will *not* be supported by Rosetta
[ http://developer.apple.com/documentation/MacOSX/Conceptual/u niversal_binary/universal_binary_exec_a/chapter_7_section_2. html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40002217-CH210-BCICICJH]
and therefore PowerPC Java applications will not be able to run natively.
Can somebody confirm this and if so is there plans for an Intel OS X
release?

Mike,

The enhancement request to support SWT on OS X/Intel is here:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=98889

Sounds like people are having success with the binaries attached to that
bug report.
