I am somewhat confused about how plugin, feature, and update site building
works.
My question is: how can I customize the build process that happens when I
choose to build a feature in the update site manager?
Namely, here are some issues that I would like to solve
1. I would like for all the plug-ins to build with the source code attached
2. It would be nice if during the build process the builder stored the sizes
of the compressed plugin jars and then automatically filled the appropriate
values for Download Size and Installation Size for each plugin in the
feature in feature.xml
Is Ant the way to go (can it do both things?) I'm not really familiar with
ant and would appreciate any pointers on where to start. Thanks
