Hello,

we want to move our .setup file from a shared drive into our git repository. The repository can be accessed via https and authentication. I've already seen there is a fix for the problem with authentication.

But there is a second problem. The ssl-certificate is signed by a company intern CA, which was not registered in Java. When trying to add the setup file, Oomph responds with: "The URI '...' does not contain a valid project".
I had to debug Oomph to find that the SSL Handshake fails. Adding the CA to Java fixes the problem. Probably this is also the right solution to fix the problem.

Nevertheless, it would be nice, if at least the error message of Oomph was more specific. If possible, you could also include the option to trust a certificate or CA right there.

Hi Christian,

Please submit a bugzilla for this problem.

The model loader (ECFURIHandlerImpl) has been developed by Ed and he's just started a long vacation. I'm not very
familiar with these SSL things, so maybe you can help us and provide a patch through Gerrit?

Cheers
/Eike
