Hello,

The Equinox project (www.eclipse.org/equinox/) is happy to announce the
release of its first prototype. It demonstrates the feasibility of running on
top of a slightly modified OSGi, as well as some dynamicity capabilities
(installation/uninstall of plugins).

Usage and setting instructions can be found on:
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextech.cgi/~checkout~/equi nox-home/prototy
pe/m2-prototype-howto.html. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free
to do so on the eclipse.technology.equinox newsgroup or the equinox-dev
mailing list.

is it me, or has there really be no posts since end of July? That seems
offly long for a project that seemed to be on a roll. Last message shows
7/31.

It's because we are busy coding.
Moreover, like recommended by eclipse, the development discussion are
happening through PRs, and the mailing-list.

That's news to me. What is the email list? One for Equinox? What is PR? I
see the eclipse.platform forum is pretty active, why did this come about? I
think the forums are great for these types of things.
