The Babel team is very please to announce the Babel 0.7 Language Packs!
Although the Babel Project is still in incubation, we feel that the
language packs are good enough to be consumed by the Eclipse community.
Babel is currently setup to accept translation contributions in 34
languages for about 40+ Eclipse projects and sub-projects. Participation
for each language and each project may vary. However, for some of the most
common projects, the completion percentage is very high. For example, the
Eclipse 3.5 project has 6 languages that are 90%+ complete, 23 languages
that are 70%+ complete.
The Babel Language Packs are available in 2 forms - Babel Language Pack
Zips and Babel Update Site. Please try them at
http://www.eclipse.org/babel/downloads.php
Thanks for your continuous support of the Babel Project!
Regards,
Kit Lo
IBM Eclipse SDK Globalization Technical Lead
Eclipse Babel Project Co-lead

Well that was via WIFI but otherwise the line is cable and thus fast enough
(even calls with Eclipse STEM work fine)
Speaking of which, it seems somebody is already doing the Chinese video
translation for a STEM tutorial, but should there be any delays or problems,
Kit would you be able to help STEM? (IBM at Almaden)
I am doing a STEM presentation in Dublin, but as a Babel contributor and
German Language Champion I guess I will also mention that as a new "service"
or area where Babel can help the localization of Eclipse projects also via
their documentation and similar artifacts.
