Hi All,

is there any possibility to hide show ViewParts? I didn't find a way to
access viewparts - even for other stuff like setFocus etc.

Any idea?

Hi again,

show/hide view parts is on the plan for the M4 milestone (2007-06-08).
As this feature is already added, you could try the current CVS version.

btw: there is a New and Noteworthy document about M4 in the wiki [1] to
see what's new in the upcoming milestone. It isn't complete yet but
there are many interesting things to see.

Also take a look at the demo (the default entrypoint when you checkout
the team set) where we used views a lot. So you can get your first
impression how things are working.

Hi,

I've checked the wiki and I didn't see IEditorPart mentioned there, will
it be implemented in M4 ?

I can't proceed using RAP without IEditorPart since my RCP uses it.

Regards,

Setya

Hi,

editors are unfortunately not scheduled for the 1.0 release. I updated the
wiki and added IEditorPart to out of scope for 1.0. Sorry for that. We try
to provide as much as possible of the RCP Workbench and we are currently
ahead of our schedule. So there may be a chance that we can do some
additional work items - but currently I can't promise anything.

Ciao
Frank

Ah, that's tooooooo bad. I can't wait to get my hands on this cool RAP.

But keep up the good works guys, I'll constantly watch the progress.

Best Regards,
