I installed 3.1RC1 a few days ago and have discovered that the number of
simultaneously visible editor tabs has been reduced such that the
full file name (including the extension) is always visible. This means
that I can now have a maximum of 5 (!) files open until the editor drop
down appears (which I dont like) - as opposed to > 10 in 3.0.
I fee like someone has chopped off the fingers of my right hand. Please,
tell me where to find the switch that configures the old behavior. I
think changes like these, which may break the working habits of millions
of users, are extremely sensitive and should at least be reversible by a
preference setting.
