How to specify custom configurations? [message #283303] Thu, 31 March 2005 14:55

I would like to launch eclipse using different sets of plugins. The
eclipse/links directory allows me to specify a set of plugins to be loaded,
but this applies to every instance that I launch.

I saw in one of the posts a reference to -configuration command-line
argument, but I cannot find enough documentation to know what to do with
this.

Essentially, what I would like to do is equivalent to the following. If
there is a supported method for accomplishing this, please point me to the
docs.

1. have a single eclipse installation directory
2. have multiple eclipse/links directories that specify the plugins to load
3. specify which eclipse/links directory to use for a given instance of
ecliplse.

Thanks
