SysML Activity diagram with probabilities [message #1522598] Mon, 22 December 2014 07:08 Go to next message

Hi,

Is there a tutorial or example available of a SysML activity diagram
with probabilities?

I would like to create an activity diagram that only has 1 initial node,
1 action and 2 flow finals, 1 reached with a probability of .75 and 1
with a probability of .25

TIA

Joost

Hi Joost,
You can apply the <<Probability>> stereotype to the flows and then specify a value for the stereotype's "probability" value specification. At least, the information will be in the model.

However, I haven't figured out how to show this on the diagram...

Hi Charles,

Thanks for the response. I managed to create the attached model (1
class, 1 activity).

If I validate the model then I get 1 error and 1 warning and I do not
know how to solve this. The error and warning are:

Error The required feature
'sysml::activities::Probability::base_ParameterSet' of 'Probability'
must be set <<Probability>> <Control Flow> FailureEdge
SysMLmodel::Object::Activity1 EMF Problem

Warning Named element SysMLmodel::Object::Activity1::SuccesEdge is not
owned by a namespace, but it has visibility. <<Probability>> <Control
Flow> SuccesEdge SysMLmodel::Object::Activity1 EMF Problem

Do you have any idea?

TIA

Joost
