Hi
I am using Eclipse 2.1.3 version in Linux
I am using eclipse for c++ programs. Earlier i hv used it for java
programming.
In java, while typing code, if i type any api object and dot(.), i get the
list of methods displayed in pop up menu where i can select the required
method to work.
Now my question is , can i get the same pop-up menu while coding c++
programs?
I tried but its not giving any pop-up.
Is there any thing im missing here?
any help is appreciated
thanks & regards
DGS

Is your project a CDT project? Or did you just create a C++ file and edit
it?
In order for CDT to discover types, you project has to be enabled for CDT.
There is a wizard for this. File > New > CDT - then something like convert
project. etc.
Did you read the CDT documentation? Help > Help Contents....
