Hi,

I am launching eclipse (for testing purposes) from the commandline using
org.eclipse.launcher.Main. How can I install my plugin (under
development) in this launched instance of eclipse? (Or programmatically.)

If I understand you correctly, you are trying to start a new instance of
Eclipse with your own plug-in included in this new copy. If so, you
would probably want to look at running your plug-in in the Runtime
Workbench; if you have your plug-in in an Eclipse plug-in project, you
can select "Run as Run-time Workbench" from the run menu.

Hi Liam,

you understand me correctly, but I cannot do what you suggest - that is
exactly my problem - I need to be able to duplicate what happens in the
scenario you describe.
