Hello folks,

I recently downloaded & installed Luna[Service release 1(4.4.1)] on my Windows 8.1 laptop at location:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Downloads\eclipse-cpp-luna-SR1-win32-x86_64

I cannot find any entry for eclipse under Control Panel > Programs & Features to uninstall the same. Could someone pls help me with the uninstall procedure pls?

Eclipse does not install like a typical Windows application. To remove it, just delete it from your file system; there are no registry settings or other mess to clean up.

Thanks for your response Eric - I appreciate! However, would like to ask - are you 100% sure, deleting the folder from Windows disk would remove it from my system?

Yes, absolutely. The only other remnants I can think of might be a .eclipse folder under your home directory and, of course, any workspaces/projects that you created. But those are not Eclipse itself, just artifacts that it creates.

Thanks again for your response! I dont find any ".eclipse" under my $HOME or %userprofile% fast path on Windows 8.1 laptop, should it necessarily be there? Pls confirm, many thanks..
