I've created my own Java perspective and saved it as "Java_rala".

But know it doesn't load itself - I've to switch to another and then switch back.

There are also some view problems in the status bar (with the icons).

You've posted in the wrong forum group; this group is for AJDT - AspectJ Development Tools. You should post your question in the Eclipse Platform group.
