[EMF Facet] How to add new elements into the ModelExplorer [message #1504919] Tue, 09 December 2014 12:31 Go to next message

Hi all,

with the version 1.0 it was quite easy to integrate new facets into a
browser customization and to calculate its content with a predfined query.
This allowed us to group elements by arbitrary criteria.

With the new EMF Facet (I'm working in the scope of Papyrus) this seems not
being possible anymore - at least I did not found an example for this
scenario.

Would you please give me a hint whether it is still possible to integrate
non-existing elements into a browsercustomization?

Best regards,
Marc-Florian

Hello,

The MoDisco browser is customizable with very old version of facet mechanism (this version is hosted by MoDisco).

To use other versions of EMF Facet in a tree view, you will have to implement your own browser/tree view.

First pieces of a new MoDisco browser using the last EMF Facet version is available in the MoDisco's git repository : cf. http://git.eclipse.org/c/modisco/org.eclipse.modisco.git/tree/org.eclipse.modisco.infra.browser.editor.ui. This may help.

Regards,
Grégoire
