Hi,
I want to install Eclipse IDE for C++, Latex and Python(Pydev tool) tasks on my system (Ubuntu 12.04 - 32x). But I have no idea which package I should install. I would be grateful if you help me in this regards.

Start with the CDT (C++ Dev Tools) package, and add functionality to that one.

On the right side of the Downloads page there is a "Related Links" box. One of the link is "Compare and Combine Packages" which takes you to this useful page: https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/compare.php?release=luna

C++ Dev Tools package is what you need to resort to. You can then add more functionality to it.
