Hi,
My feature has a plugin that has a welcome page. The welcome page is
referenced in the plugin's 'about.ini' file. I modified Eclipse's
configuration/config.ini to make sure my splash screen gets displayed
and my feature as the main feature, etc. I see that when I do
"Help->Welcome", my feature's welcome page is one of the welcome pages.
The questions I have are:
(1) When I start Eclipse with an empty workspace, I see my welcome page
displayed. But not with an non-empty workspace. Why?
(2) When I run/debug my feature/plugin as a runtime-workbench, I see
that my plugin runs, but when I do a 'Help->Welcome' I don't see my
welcome page entry in the list. Any reason here?
(3) Lastly, what are the differences of between the welcome page the
intro page? Sorry, if this is too generic of a question. May be just
some big differences.
