I installed Eclipse Luna (Version: Luna Service Release 1 (4.4.1)

However, I can't seem to get the editor (from preferences > Java > Editor) to make anything happen.

I need the code to high-light key words, show syntax errors, format code etc

Is there a way to reset everything? I am assuming by default all the basic code formatting will be there? Have I missed something...any hints, advice much appreciated as this is driving me nuts!

Thanks Smile

Do you have the Java plugin ( Eclipse Java Development Tools 3.10.0.v20140925-0400 org.eclipse.jdt.feature.group Eclipse.org)
installed? You can check from Help -> Installation Details.
