Eclipse Download Older Version for Mac OS X [message #270225] Sat, 11 April 2009 14:46 Go to next message

Hi to all,

I had trouble trying to download older versions of Eclipse (Ganymede older
version 3.4 and 3.4.1) for Mac OS X. The page coming from the Eclipse
Download page says the file doesn't exists.

I think this is a minor bug on the site because after digging in the
internet I was able to open the correct download page to the Eclipse
Download page.

This is the URL that worked:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technolo gy/epp/downloads/release/ganymede/SR1/eclipse-jee-ganymede-S R1-macosx-carbon.tar.gz

But the URL that is displaying on the site is:
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technolo gy/epp/downloads/release/ganymede/SR1/eclipse-jee-ganymede-S R1-macosx-cocoa.tar.gz

I'm fairly certain there is no Cocoa port for Ganymede (only for Galileo) so
this sounds like a bug on the web site. It appears to affect all the 3.4.0
and 3.4.1 MacOS download links.

I've reported https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=271946 .
