The aims of the project sound great, and it's good to see an experiment
with a vertical industry solution, particularly one as important as
health care.
However, I must admit to a certain confusion over what's intended by the
proposal. Is it to be a collection of (source and graphical) editors? An
extension to BIRT with industry-specific forms and some added security
measures? Something else entirely?
Additional description around the user experience / scenarios
(particularly for those of us not familiar with the health care
industry) might help the larger Eclipse community to better understand
what's envisioned by the proposal.

Hi Tim
Fair question. This is still being clarified. Hopefully we will be
able to say something solid soon.
However it's worth noting that a vertical industry solution
represents a new direction for eclipse in several directions,
and so it's certainly going to entail more than the things
you mention above
