Hi All,
From my Xtext generator around 1000 files are getting generated after one save in src-gen folder.

So back in my workspace, Inside the .metadata -> .plugins -> org.eclipse.core.resources ->.history folder quite lot of files (Local history) have been saved.

See my default local history settings in the attachment:

index.php/fa/19954/0/

But I see many files in .history folder. Files are present from last 6-7 months and guess what I have more than 800000 files as local history and finally ending up with Out Of Memory exception.

Can someone suggest me how to clean this folder when I launch my tool or some other solution ?

Hi Ashad,

since 2.5 we don't keep the local history by default. Do you use an
older version?

Hi Sebastian,
I am using Xtext 2.4.3.
I had some issue with maven while updating it to a newer version.
Now it looks like I will have to update it somehow...
