Overriding an Eclipse plugin extension [message #26122] Wed, 24 April 2002 10:50 Go to next message

Does anyone know if it is possible to override an Eclipse plugin extension,
without deleting the extension from the plugin.xml?

We want to replace the Eclipse text search with our own, but we would like
to override the search plugin.xml rather than deleting the extension
information from it.

Thank you.

The right place to post this would be in the eclipse.tools newsgroup.
