Table width [message #263398] Tue, 19 August 2008 10:07 Go to next message

Hi All,

I have an problem with Rendering of tables.I am using tablecolumnlayout.I
am using ColumnWeight for the Column sizes.P
I am using this table in a tabbed property sheet page.I have set the Grid
Data to the FILL_HORIZANTAL.Problem with this each time the tab is
refreshed or switched back the tab increases it size.

So if i specify the width to some value,it works. But the layout would be
hampered in the case of resoulution changes.
Please help me to solve this problem.

Thanks and Regards,
Saurav

This is a known issue [1] but I haven't had time to fix it. If you want
a fix to get in (maybe in 3.4.1) I'd be happy if you provide a patch.
The algorithm which should be used is described in the comments.

Hi Tom,

many thanks for the reply. Is it also true that if we use GridLayout and
Grid Data for the table.SWT introduces unnecessary an extra column to the
table?
