Feature requests are tracked and discusses there, not in the forum.

Did you try CTRL+O (cmd+O on mac) on a diagram ? This opens a quick
search popup which presents you the elements displayed in a tree, then
the selected elements are highlighted/selected in the diagram

The corresponding feature does not exist in the Table editors yet,
please see Pierre-Charles's answer which indicates the bugzilla adress.
