During creation of new data set based on valid data source (JDBC Database Connection for Query Builder; MySQL data source) I faced with the following problem:
- When try to add table visually at the middle area of wizard page "New SQL Select Query [Query Builder]" database name expanded to empty list (no tables).
- When try to write any (!) valid SQL select statement at the top area - middle and bottom areas disabled. In all cases this SQL select statement with BIRT data source credentials produces valid non-empty output in MySQL utilities.
- When try to press "Finish" after unsuccessful attempts of writing SQL - message box appeared "Unable to find table ..."
- Eclipse log show nothing for that.
What's wrong?

When you test your connection from the data source, does it say the connection is successful?
