Hello,

I've seen (on https://www.eclipsecon.org/europe2014/session/j2j-javafx-testing-jubula) that Jubula is going to support efxclipse ?

I can't attend the Eclipse Conference, but I do hope the presentation will be available soon somewhere ... ?

Hi there,

The current version of Jubula supports JavaFX testing. The slides will be uploaded to the conference page soon, in the meantime you can check out our blog entry:
http://www.bredex.de/blog_article_de/javafx-support-in-jubula.html

Best regards,
Alex

The slides say:
Quote:

JAVAFX SUPPORT IN JUBULA
JavaFX on Java8
Standalone and e(fx)clipse based AUTs
Supported wigdets...
current status: http://www.eclip.se/421595

Well, I tried Jubula with this sample efxclipse application but Jubula does not recognize this RCP application. It can be started from inside Jubula as well as from autrun. The application will open a window frame only. But it will not appear at "Running AUTs"

The application can be started via:
C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\server>autrun.exe -a localhost -p 60000 -i aut_efxclipse -rcp -w "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\efxclipse_app" -e "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\efxclipse_app\eclipse.exe" -data "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\efxclipse_app\workspace"

The Jubula rcp plugins have been started
osgi> ss

133 ACTIVE org.eclipse.jubula.rc.rcp.common_4.0.0.201603111021
134 ACTIVE org.eclipse.jubula.rc.rcp.e4_4.0.0.201603111021
osgi>

Some more information:
I use Jubular Standalone Version: 8.2.2.055
JDK 8.92
Win7 64bit

On the other hand the SimpleAdder-RCP example will be recognized from Jubula:
C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\server>autrun.exe -a localhost -p 60000 -i aut_rcp_test -rcp -w "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\SimpleAdder\rcp\win32\win32\x86_64" -e "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\SimpleAdder\rcp\win32\win32\x86_64\SimpleAdder.exe" -data "C:\Users\dtramnitzke\Projekte\V9\jubula\examples\AUTs\SimpleAdder\rcp\win32\win32\x86_64\workspace"

Is there an efxclipse example somewhere ?

Hi there,

I'll get one of the team to have a look at the example you linked to see what the problem might be.

Best regards,
Alex

Hello Danny,

you are trying to start the e(fx)clipse application as an RCP application but you have to start it as a JavaFX application. You also do not need the rc.rcp plug-ins then.

Best regards,
Kevin
