I have installed the base Java IDE package of 3.4, and I'm trying to add
some additional components. However, no matter which I select, the
"Install..." button and menu items remain greyed-out/disabled. What
obvious step am I missing here?

Yes, Winzip.

Both Sun Java 6 and IBM Java 6.

Yes

Will check the other references too. I actually manually added an
external plugin site, and the Install button was enabled for that one.
It's possible, though, that the items listed are all already installed?
In particular, I installed the base Java package and am trying to add WTP.
As far as I can tell, both from the list of installed features and from
trying to open web artifacts, WTP doesn't appear to be installed yet, but
perhaps it is?
