hello everybody!

I'm trying to run eclipse ganymede just downloaded from site tonight.

The message I got is always:

---------------------------
Eclipse
---------------------------
The Eclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its
companion shared library.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

My OS is a Windows Vista Home Premium OEM in a HP Pavilion notebook.

Really I used eclipse since 3.2 with a lot of projects, but I never got
this message before. The file I downloaded is
"eclipse-jee-ganymede-win32", and its size still 171.132.790 bytes.

What can I do to solve this problem? My notebook have a fresh install of
Windows.

Make sure that you unzipped the file into a clean directory (NOT into the
same directory as Eclipse 3.2), and that you use an unzip utility that can
handle long filenames (unlike the Windows built-in unzip utility, which
can't).

This is documented on the download page.

I don't know if that's your problem, but it sounds like a decent bet.
