Eclipse Kepler - Unable to download JSF user libraries [message #1443903] Mon, 13 October 2014 07:29 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi All,

I'm new to the JSF teachnology and trying to run an example from eclipse help forum (http://help.eclipse.org/luna/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.jst.jsf.doc.user%2Fhtml%2Fgettingstarted%2Ftutorial%2FJSFTools_tutorial_JSF20.html).

I'm using eclipse kepler, JDK1.6, tomcat 7.

While creating the JSF project, I created a new "Dynamic Web Project"
-selected target runtime as "Apache Tomcat 7".
-in configuration, clicked modify. Selected JavaServer Faces 2.2.
-clicked next
-again next
-in web module, marked Generate web.xml deployment descriptor. clicked next.
-in JSF Capabilities, selected user libraries and tried to download libraries. but none of the libraries got searched.

Can somebody tell what can be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Shubhra

This isn't a newcomers'forum question. You should post in the Eclipse
WTP forum.
