Babel Pseudo Translation Test: [message #25463] |

Hi,
I'd like to run Babel Pseudo Translation Test on Memory Analyzer
(technology.mat) to verify its translatablity, but the pseudo translation
language packs are not generated yet (In fact there was no translation for
MAT at all so far). Does Babel provide a tool to generate those pseudo
packs?
Best Regards,
Elena.

I just checked your map file and there is something wrong with it indeed
(and I know you copied it from stp.bpmn, and yes I just corrected it for
that project too, sorry!)
Your plugin reference looks like this:
plugin@org.eclipse.mat.api= SVN,trunk,http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/technology/org.ecli pse.mat,,trunk/plugins/org.eclipse.mat.api
instead, change it to look like this:
plugin@org.eclipse.mat.api= SVN,trunk,http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/technology/org.ecli pse.mat,,plugins/org.eclipse.mat.api
We now read the trunk part as the second fragment, so there is no more
need to output trunk/plugins/org.eclipse.mat.api,
plugins/org.eclipse.mat.api is enough.
Thanks,
Antoine

The PPT plugin was not generated yet and I can't understand whether it is
because the map file is still wrong or whether there are other problems.
Another question: when I try to use translation tool for MAT it seems not
to update the sections "Strings in File" and "Traslation for Key" properly
(they stay empty). What can cause this problem?

Hey Elena, nice to have you on the webinar this week. We had a big bug
with the new strings and that should be resolved over the weekend.
What also might happen is that hte map file you provided isn't giving
anything, ie there is a problem with it.
In any case, I would rather discuss this through a bug. Please open one,
I will check your map file meanwhile.

While this test may not require multiple languages yet, please let me know
if you require help with translating or proof-reading MAT resources
(especially in German ;-)

Yes. The server is down so this might take a bit longer.
