How to restrict the number of columns in PDF format? [message #256696]

I would like to know how the number of columns in the PDF format of a
report could be retricted to say n number of cols, this is because of the
known problem in BIRT with respect to displaying the report in the PDF
format where the columns and the data get truncated for which I couldn't
find any resolution and all the posts related to it went unanswered .

I would like to know how to restrict the columns in the PDF format to few
columns in the report so as to avoid the full trucated version of the PDF
report.
