Hi

We have developped a plugin that connects to an Oracle database.

We have a problem when some users, using Eclipse IDE 3.4 with a 1.6 JVM,
on customer site have defined a SOCKS proxy in the network preferences
of Eclipse: whatever they have input in the "no proxy for" table, the
Oracle driver tries to connect through the SOCKS proxy and fails after a
very very long timeout.

Do you know any solution to this?
For instance, is there is a way to force the database connection of our
plugin to not take that SOCKS config into account?

Or what would be the correct configuration of the "No proxy for" table
to avoid Oracle to connect a server named "SRV" on port "PRT" ?

thanks in advance for your help
