Is there a location (perhaps faq) that summarizes problems and solutions
using Eclipse with Microsoft Vista OS ?

I've narrowed the scope to specifically SWT bugs. A broader scope might
expose issues with other projects.

Hi Tom,

I don't have a current problem.

I've never used Vista.
I'm preparing a class for Eclipse/RCP and I want to anticipate problems
that the students may encounter.

I've seen postings to the newsgroups concerning problems with Vista,
but I haven't followed them.

I have been using Vista + Eclipse for quite a while now. I use Sun's JDK SE
5 update 14, and Eclipse seems to be quite stable. Not sure how it measures
under JDK 6.

The only issue is that sometimes the Eclipse won't refresh its windows. For
example, if I click on a project and select open, nothing would change on
the screen. I have to change the focus to something else and then come back
to see the project showing as opened. The same goes for other things like
team synchronization of a project. I sometimes have to click away and get
back to see the synchronization windows showing up.

But these are not show stoppers, and may just be problems with my computer.
