using eclipse for Pro*C [message #1430879] Wed, 24 September 2014 20:01

I am interested in using eclipse for Pro*C development and I would appreciate any tips for configuring eclipse for this purpose. Currently I am trying to figure out how to configure eclipse so that .pc files are not run through the C/C++ syntax checker but are still available for setting breakpoints?

Note: We are using the LINES=YES pro*c pre-compiler option so the debugger does now open and step through the .pc file instead of the generated .c file.

It seems I can set the "Content Type" in eclipse to be text (no breakpoints allowed) or I can set it to C/C++ (C syntax checking is turned on).
