ModelExplorer customization, EMF Facet and MODISCO [message #1430284] Wed, 24 September 2014 03:57 Go to next message

Hi all,

while migrating to Luna we found out that the ModelExplorer customization
has entirely changed. Our old MODISCO-based browser customizations does not
work any longer.

So, I assume that EMF Facet is used solely from now on?

Best regards,
Marc-Florian

Hi Marc-Florian,

MoDisco customizations have been deprecated since Papyrus Indigo (0.8.0) in favor of EMF Facet. EMF Facet 0.1 customizations are now deprecated since Papyrus Luna (1.0.0). We currently use a forked version of EMF Facet 0.4 (Based on their >= 0.2 metamodel)

Regards,
Camille

Hi Camille,

thanks for this quick answer. So, what would you recommend if one wanted to
use customizations (icons, fonts etc.) only in the scope of Papyrus? Should
we build it on top of your customproperties.efacet model then? It seems as
if this was most reliable if we want to stay in the scope of Papyrus, right?

Regards,
Marc-Florian
