The Eclipse Foundation is seeking a highly organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, to fill the role of Open Source Project Administrator for the Eclipse Open Source Community. This role non-technical.
The successful candidate will work onsite in our Ottawa, Canada office.
Duties
Guiding open source project developers through the Eclipse Development Process;
Supervision of the onboarding new open source projects (guiding new project developers through the "bootstrapping" process);
Monitoring open source project activity, discovering, mitigating, and reporting anomalous behaviour;
Dissemination of key open source project milestones and activity via social media;
Maintenance of process documentation;
Maintenance of data related to open source projects and developers; and
Responding to, or redirecting incoming correspondence
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional experience is required
