3.3.2 differences from 3.3.1? [message #251855] Tue, 04 March 2008 12:01 Go to next message

Is there a document describing the changes from 3.3.1 to 3.3.2?

I was able to find only a changelog from 3.2 to 3.3 on the web site.

Jim,

I'm pretty sure it contains only fixes for critical bugs. JDT has great
what's new descriptions, but that's at a high level. Release notes like
these automatically generated ones that EMF has would be good for all
projects and their users:

http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/news/relnotes.php?projec t=emf&version=HEAD
< http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/news/relnotes.php?projec t=emf&version=HEAD>

Note that the little folder links even show what's change in CVS. And
did I mention it's 100% generated so there's no monkey work? :-P Hint
hint...

As Ed said, in general the changes will just be bug fixes, and only critical
ones at that. We try pretty hard to keep the x.y.2 releases very stable, in
part to avoid having to make x.y.3 releases.

One fairly accurate approach is to search Bugzilla for bugs that were fixed
with a target milestone of 3.3.2.
