Missing JavaFX/OSGi subfolder in new project wizard [message #1419643] Mon, 08 September 2014 19:15 Go to next message

I installed e(fx)clipse through Help > Install New Software > URL: http://download.eclipse.org/efxclipse/updates-released/1.0.0/site

I also have added [http://download.eclipse.org/efxclipse/runtime-nightly/site] to my Target Platform, as suggested by Tutorial 4 [https://wiki.eclipse.org/Efxclipse/Tutorials/Tutorial4].

However, when I create a new project, I can see the JavaFX folder in the wizard, but there is no OSGi subfolder (as it used to have in the 0.9.0 version running in Kepler). Was this removed in the latest version?

I can somehow remember people having had similar troubles because of
missing xtext dependencies.

You can open your Host Console and check the bundles who are named
org.eclipse.fx (type "ss org.eclipse.fx") - they should at least all be
resolved, if one of them is sticking in INSTALLED state you can use
"diag $NUMBER".
