System Architecture Document? [message #24690] Fri, 26 December 2008 22:11 Go to next message

Hello,

For the tmf xtext project is there a system architecture document
available? I just downloaded the source code. I was curious to see the
role of each plugin and relationship between the plugins.

Regards,
Madhu

Hi Madhu,

unfortunately there is no architecture document describing the purpose
of the different bundles yet.
You can find some documentation here :
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Xtext/Documentation

However, the dependencies between bundles can be viewed using the
Plug-in dependencies view which is part of Eclipse PDE (and should be
part of your Eclipse instance).

Sven

Hi Sven,

Thanks for the details.

I was looking for a tool which will show the dependencies between all the
plugins in a workspace (or a set of selected plugins) in a single view.
But definitely the plugin dependencies view will help.

Madhu
