Hello all,

I need some help on birt report engine, on pdf files generation.

I have this rptdesign file: 5432_LOP - Copy.rptdesign
and this xml source file containing: dt5432_LOP.xml.

My .xml file contains just one dataset field populated with large data.
When I make a preview in eclise 3.71, I have an NULL output, and this is because of large amount of data. If I reduce the data from xml file, the report works.

How can I set a fixet size or how can I make an Page preak interval on a data grid in eclipse? I think birt cannot break automatically after a page is loaded.

Did anyone has some suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
Emanuel.

There seems to be an invalid character before the "second page" of data in your data row. If you remove this, everything seems to work out fine. I tested in 4.4.0, not 3.7.1, but I would guess you'll see the same. You won't be able to set a page break interval inside your grid. Your best bet for this to look exactly how you're wanting is to form the XML differently to take advantage of BIRT's ability to create a table.
