I just upgraded my Ubuntu system to the latest version and had a bit of
trouble with Eclipse, so I removed it and reinstalled, using the Ubuntu
repository. It's running 3.2.2. One of my projects uses OpenOffice,
including all the jar files. Because of the upgrade, I did have to
respecify the location of all the OpenOffice jar files (I think the
developers blow off steam by changing the jars a bit at each release). I
did that and all but one error on that project went away.
This one error is:
The project cannot be built until build path errors are resolved
Yet I don't get anything specific. I've tried the Configure Build Path
window, and don't see any errors flagged and in the Package Explorer
there's no indication of errors. The location is given as unknown and if I
try "Goto Location" I don't get anything.
It seems to be just an inspecific error with no guidance on how to fix it.
How can I either fix it or at least get more information on it?
Thanks!
Hal

The project's build path is configured via its Properties dialog. If you
open the Properties and select the Java Build Path section you should be
able to find the problem by switching between the various tabs (Source,
Projects, Libraries).
Hope this helps,
Eric
