We have and OSGI based application which runs on Virgo 3.6.2. Need some information on p2 based provisioning for our application on virgo.

This page lists p2 provisioning as a feature for virgo, what does this really mean? Does it mean that I could use p2 to provision updates for our application. The documentation for this tends to describe installing/updating virgo using p2 but also talks about extending the server using p2.

Please help provide leads if anyone in this forum has dealt with this topic.

Ciao,

My understanding is that Virgo uses P2 for provisioning itself, but you cannot use P2 for provisioning your application.

GianMaria.
