Usage of public methods in Subscriber Participant causes warnings [message #247822] Mon, 04 February 2008 21:04
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi All,
I have a working synchronize UI which we are migrating from Eclipse 3.2 to
Eclipse 3.4 and I have come across some issues.

I am getting "Discouraged access:" warnings for the following instances:
1. Looks like SubscriberParticipant#getSubscriberSyncInfoCollector() is
not accessible. Is there an alternative?
2. The method waitForCollector(IProgressMonitor) from the type
SubscriberSyncInfoCollector is not accessible due to restriction on
required library \org.eclipse.team.core_3.3.100.I20071210.jar
3. The method subscriberResourceChanged(ISubscriberChangeEvent[]) from the
type SubscriberResourceCollector is not accessible due to restriction on
required library \org.eclipse.team.core_3.3.100.I20071210.jar
4. Discouraged access: The type SyncInfoModelElement is not accessible due
to restriction on required library
\org.eclipse.team.ui_3.4.0.I20071127.jar Is there an alternative?

Please advice.

Thank you,
Pavan.
