[CDO] Unable to launch our product due to CDO issues [message #1403953] |

Not sure why my topics concerning CDO are not answered, but the fact is we cannot launch our product due to the instabilities in CDO. I have test cases and repositories that exhibit our problems. I have had 2 people using our design tool to enter models, for the last 2 weeks full time CDO consistently fails with ClassCastExceptions and sometimes missing CDO_ID.
According to the developer who developed our CDO interface and that investigated these problem a while ago these were his comments:
"It skips abstract classes."
"But what I don't understand, why don't they throw an exception. No error, no warning. they just skip that element and the order changes and now ETLgroup references itself and there is no such element 'workflow' in ETLgroup."
"regarding the H2 repository you sent. It's not broken. This is something in CDO. It may fail in some case when models are loaded lazily
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=369646"
I do not understand the internals of CDO so I don't know how to fix this.
Details here - https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/737332/1403264/#msg_1403264
Is there anyone that can help us?
