Error when opening *.hprof file: No parser registered [message #1402932] Fri, 18 July 2014 08:58 Go to next message

Hello,

I installed the Memory Analyzer as Eclipse plugin. But when I try to open a *.hprof file a window pops up telling me that there is no parser registered for that file.
The installation of the plugin did not show any dependency issues. So what kind of parser is it missing? And where do I tell MAT which parser to use?

My setup:

OS: Debian 7
Eclipse version: 3.8
MAT version: 1.1.1

I am attaching a screenshot of the Error Message.

After writing the initial post I realized that my Eclipse download MAT version 1.1.1.
After updating to version 1.4 the error message disappeared.
