Here's before (Kepler)
It's on my laptop, so not ideal but it is lovely, all I had to do was delete the CSS files and I got this, look at the nice smooth native buttons, the lovely font, the toolbars, this is how I want Eclipse.
This is my second impression with Luna, I had to remove the CSS files again to get rid of some weird white border, but this is awful.
Firstly look at that colour picker, my system has a colour picker dialog already, one I know and am used to, this reminds me of MSPaint (it's been many years since I've used Windows - is this a valid statement? I remember the colour panel on the left, and this display on the right.... anyway...)
Second, look at those buttons, bit nasty square things.
Third, the toolbar, similar to the buttons.
Fourth, font, look at the tree view used for the settings, the padding there is huge.
With Kepler I didn't really mind the "okay I'll have to delete some CSS files" fix, it's a one off thing. This however is awful!
I urge the development team to at the very least ensure there is a "classic" that works well and use standard dialogs (unless there is a VERY good reason not to (for example printing, I can completely understand that with Eclipse the standard dialog may not be enough, I've never tried to print though, but you see what I mean)
I'm not sure what to do now, obviously stick with Kepler but please please make it look native. I don't know why the buttons appear so sharp and why the padding for the text in the treeview is so great, I'm happy to help (if you need info please ask) but this is... it's unusable.
