I am trying to find a way to determine if the contents of a report have
changed when executing it again with the same parameter set. In the first
approximation, it would be fine to have a binary answer changed/not
changed. I tried binary comparisons of the report documents, but these
seem to change even if my underlying data sets do not (timestamps in the
data?).
Can somebody suggest a method for accomplishing this (other than rendering
the report and text comparing the HTML output)? For example, there might
be a way to obtain something like a hash code on the data set contents
stored in the report doc?
