.... I'm not able to reply to your post because:
a) it does not show up on the newsgroup
b) I'm unable to log into the forum

Your problem is that you are using the Linux OpenJDK which does not have
JavaFX with it!

So the solution is:
a) install Oracle JDK8
b) launch your Eclipse IDE with it
c) if the Oracle JDK is not recognized in your JRE-Setting add it and
make sure it is used by the project
d) restart your IDE
